Feature Overview

Favorite Facilities allows users to easily mark and revisit their preferred spaces across our platform. Whether you frequently book the same gymnasium for community events or a classroom for regular meetings, this feature ensures your top choices are always at your fingertips.


How To Add Favorites

    Logged-In Users:

  1. Log in to your Facilitron account 
  2. Search for your desired facility and location
  3. Click the star icon on the upper right hand corner of any facility card — whether on the search results page, nearby section, or facility details page — to add it to your favorites.
  4. A notification will confirm the space has been added to Favorite facilities, and the star icon will turn solid to indicate the facility is favorited.

    Non-Logged-In Users: 

        If you are not logged in, clicking the star icon will prompt you to log in to your Facilitron account. Upon successful login, the facility is automatically added to your favorites, and the same confirmation message is displayed.


Favorites Page Access

View your Favorite facilities by clicking on the dropdown menu under your name. Select "Favorites" to be brought to your Favorite facilities page.


Removing Favorites

1. Remove a facility from your favorites by clicking the filled star icon again.


2. The system will confirm the removal with the message, "Removed from Favorite facilities. Undo". 

        If you removed the facility by mistake, click "Undo" to re-add the facility to your favorites list.


What if I Get the “Facility Not Found” Error Message?

If a user tries to access a facility that has been removed from Facilitron, they will be redirected to a new "Facility Not Found" page, ensuring a smooth user experience even when facilities are no longer available.
