This article is for school districts and property owners who wish to use Facilitron Works to track tech support tickets in addition to traditional work orders.
Setting Up the Ticketing
First, a new Technical Support purpose should be added to the purposes in the system by going to Manage > Web Site Configuration > Purpose and clicking + Add New. Add the new purpose and click the box Display on New WOs for Site-Roles.
Processing the Tickets
The admin responsible for processing tech tickets will select the Technical Support purpose filter for their receive screen and click the box Remember Filters. The following example shows the purpose I.T. Support Request.
Using this filter will change the receive screen to only show tech tickets. The admin or admins responsible for processing work orders will select all necessary purposes on the receive screen, minus the tech ticket purpose, and click the box to Remember Filters.
