Each facility owner organization will have its own approval structures and therefore different expectations of its admins.

Generally speaking district administrators are usually the overseer of community requests for the district. In many cases, that means the district admin is the final approver of community requests.  But even if the schools themselves are the final approvers of community requests, the district administrator will have a role supervising the activity of the school admins.

In this role, a district administrator may have the following responsibilities:

  1. Manage or oversee requests for district facility use, supervise usage by schools

  2. Review community requests - review requesting groups, edit charges as needed, approve or decline requests, communicate with renters and stakeholders

  3. Be able to answer general questions about district policies and process and be able to direct community requesters to Facilitron or the Facilitron rental site for the district

  4. Work with your assigned account manager to become a power user.
