This article will show administrators how to align their personal calendar and Facilitron calendar to the correct time zone, if it appears as incorrect.

Calendar Management and Connecting Your Facilitron Calendar

This article is for administrators who have already connected their Facilitron calendar with their personal Google or Apple calendar (or other WebDav/iCal capable calendar). Connecting the Facilitron calendar to your Google or Apple calendar (or other WebDav/iCal capable calendar) will allow you to view reservations for your site on the go, according to the calendar rules that you set.

For a step-by-step guide on how to connect your personal or master calendar to your site’s Facilitron calendar, please see Connecting Your Facilitron Calendar to Google or Apple Calendar

Why is My Connected Calendar Showing Incorrect Times?

Your personal (master) calendar may show incorrect times once connected to the Facilitron calendar due to an error in the time zone settings.

To fix the time zone settings, you will first need to open your master calendar. Google users should navigate to calendar.google.com, which will open your master calendar’s homepage and dashboard.

Once on the calendar’s homepage, click the gear shaped "Settings" button at the top of your screen.

This will open a Settings dropdown with multiple options. Click "Settings" again.

A new settings homepage will appear with a navigation menu on the left hand side of your screen. Select "Time zone" from this menu.

A primary time zone dropdown will appear. Here, you can adjust your calendar’s time zone to match your specific location.

Note: You may need to ensure that your correct country is selected in the "Language and region" section of the settings navigation menu. You can find the country listed directly above the "Time zone" section.
